Manifest Solutions is partnered with a regional energy partner with ongoing needs for Project Financial Controls Analyst professionals.
- Process intermediate and complex vendor invoices for management approval for contract labor and/or material services.
- Perform invoice audit review per the contract's ?nancial Terms and Conditions for labor and equipment billing rates, subcontractors, materials, per diem, escalation, overheads, etc.
- Interpret and understand complex contractual language and ?nancial Terms and Conditions to apply to vendor invoices and contract reviews.
- Dispute vendor invoices for contractual compliance and interpretation.
- Provide material service support which includes obtaining and processing quotes, vendor support, receipting, and tracking.
- Identify and submit unvouchered liabilities in accordance with Accounting policies and SOX requirements.
- Ensure all policies and processes for accruing unvouchered liabilities are in alignment with the project guidelines.
- Assist in developing e?ciencies to record unvouchered liabilities for un-invoiced vendor services performed.
- Perform work order administration activities including set up, in-service reporting, and closing.
- Ensure proper identi?cation of asset retirements for timely processing. Resolve errors with Accounting, Project Management, and various other departments within the organization.
- Provide assistance to ensure that the proper ?nancial controls are in place for accurate project and work order reporting.
- Provide business and administrative support for: contract requisitions, bid packages, governance, and contract spend analyses; and creation of templates for business processes and tracking.
- Provide support and coordination in the preparation, reporting, and analysis of monthly O&M and capital budgets.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives related to ?nancial and operational processes.
- Support training and knowledge-transfer activities related to ?nancial and operational processes and related system and software applications.
- Assist Audit Services with vendor and operational audits to ensure compliance with the contract's ?nancial Terms and Conditions and policies and guidelines.
- Participate in special studies or projects as assigned.
Basic Quali?cations:
- With a quali?ed bachelor’s degree, one (1) year of quali?ed experience; with a quali?ed associate’s degree, three (3) years' quali?ed experience; with a High School Diploma or GED, four (4) years' experience as a Project Financial Controls Analyst Associate.
- Quali?ed degrees must be in a related ?eld from an accredited university or college and could include Accounting, Business, Construction Management, Engineering, Technology, or Project Management.
- Quali?ed experience includes utility speci?c operations knowledge/experience with good working knowledge of work processes and procedures.
- Experience should be in design, operations, planning, project management, cost tracking analysis, forecasting, project budgets, working with accounting principles, and/or construction or maintenance of systems and/or equipment.
Additional Requirements:
- Travel requirements expected 10-25% of the time.
- Experience with Microsoft O?ce, PeopleSoft Financials, Business Objects, Cognos, and Ventyx Asset Suite Maximo preferred but not required.
- Quali?ed professional with demonstrated teamwork capabilities working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong commercial, analytical, oral/written communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to successfully work with a diverse set of internal and external partners at all levels of the organization.
- Core competencies include adaptability/?exibility, teamwork/collaboration, communication, and planning/organizing.
- Annual invoice volume: 50,000 invoices for $1.5 Billion; Unvouchered Liabilities for $2.0 Billion; Annual O&M and Capital Budget for $250 Million.
- Ability to coordinate multiple intermediate and complex projects.
