    Job Summary / Overview

    The Project Controls Manager is responsible for managing and integrating all project controls activities for assigned Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects, including cost control, progress measurement, forecasting, change management, risk management, cash flow management, and reporting. The role ensures project performance is accurately measured, risks are identified early, and corrective actions are implemented in alignment with company standards.

    · Implement project controls standards, procedures, and systems established by the company

    · Manage day-to-day project controls activities across engineering, procurement, and construction phases

    · Ensure alignment between cost, schedule, progress, cash flow, and risk data

    · Develop and manage project budgets, cost baselines, forecasts, and cash flow

    · Monitor commitments, actual costs, EAC, ETC, and cash flow projections

    · Analyze cost variances and trends and recommend corrective actions

    · Oversee maintenance of integrated EPC schedules

    · Implement and manage Earned Value Management (EVM) methodologies

    · Manage cost and cash flow impacts of changes, variations, and claims

    · Maintain change and trend registers and ensure approved changes are reflected in forecasts

    · Collaborate with Project Controls team members to standardize and improve processes, templates, and systems, driving efficiency and consistency across all projects

    · Identify opportunities to automate workflows and reporting, reducing manual effort and increasing accuracy

    · Prepare monthly project controls reports and cash flow dashboards for internal and client use

    · Manage project risk identification and mitigation planning

    Qualifications

    Licenses, Certifications, and/or Registrations

    · Professional certifications such as AACE (CCP, EVP) or PMI (PMP) preferred.

    Education, Experience, and/or Training

    · Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Finance, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

    · 10+ years of EPC project controls experience, specifically within Power Generation or OGC (Oil, Gas & Chemical) projects, is required.

    · Experience managing cost and cash flow integration, forecasting, and performance measurement on large, complex capital projects.

    · Experience with project controls automation and workflow optimization

    · Familiarity with risk management and quantitative risk analysis
