    Project Coordinator / Accountant (Construction) - Temp / Temp-to-Hire - Novato (Onsite) - $30 - $38.46/hour

    Highly regarded Green Bay Area construction and real estate development firm, offering a dynamic, supportive team culture, is seeking a Project Coordinator / Construction Accountant to assist with construction draws and related accounting tasks.

    • Start : ASAP
    • Duration : Ongoing, possible temp-to-hire with the right fit
    • Location : 100% onsite in Novato, ½ mile from SMART
    • Schedule : Monday through Friday schedule with flexible hours available
    • Benefits : Excellent benefits once hired on

    Construction Accountant Responsibilities:

    • Prepare and process construction draw requests in coordination with project managers and lenders.
    • Review invoices, subcontractor payments, and supporting documentation to verify work progress before submitting draws.
    • Track and reconcile project costs against approved budgets and contracts.
    • Communicate with subcontractors, vendors, lenders, and project teams to gather necessary documentation, including lien waivers.
    • Ensure compliance with contract terms, loan requirements, and accounting best practices.
    • Assist with general construction accounting tasks, including AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting.
    • Maintain organized and accurate records of all transactions and draw schedules.

    Construction Accountant Qualifications:

    • Experience in construction accounting or finance, with knowledge of construction draws and progress billing.
    • Strong understanding of job costing, AIA billing, and lien waiver processing.
    • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Procore, Sage 300 (Timberline), or similar ERP systems.
