Project Coordinator – Commercial General Contractor

Looking to break into commercial construction and learn from the ground up? Our client, a leading employee-owned general contractor is hiring a Project Coordinator to join their growing team.
This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience supporting projects. As a Project Coordinator, you’ll support multiple fast-paced projects and contribute to all phases of the project lifecycle — from preconstruction to closeout. You’ll work closely with project managers and field teams, learning the ropes of construction operations while playing a key role in keeping projects organized and moving forward.
Project Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Organizing and tracking project documents (contracts, insurance, change orders, RFIs, submittals, etc.)
- Assisting with project set-up, scheduling, and coordination with subcontractors and vendors
- Helping prepare closeout materials and project binders
- Managing certificates of insurance, subcontract agreements, and compliance tracking
- Supporting weekly reporting, meeting notes, and internal documentation
- Pitching in on general office administration when needed
Project Coordinator Qualifications:
- Strong administrative or coordination experience (construction preferred but not required)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, DocuSign, and bonus points for Procore
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Detail-oriented and proactive — you don’t wait to be told what to do
- Comfortable juggling multiple projects and shifting priorities
- A team-first attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed

Compensation: $65,000 - $70,000 (DOE) + Bonus potential
