    DKK is looking for a Project Coordinator who is interested in a unique opportunity to work within an established firm (20+ years). We are a young firm with exponential growth that has many opportunities for the right person to excel within its operation. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting project managers and engineers by coordinating project activities, maintaining communication with clients, managing permitting processes, and handling related administrative tasks. This role requires excellent organizational skills, a strong understanding of construction and permitting processes, and the ability to adapt quickly to incoming scenarios. In short, DKK is not looking for an employee, we are looking for a team member ready to make an impact!

    Job Requirements:

    • Serve as a central point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal team members regarding project status and updates.
    • Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to ensure expectations are met and project timelines are maintained.
    • Coordinate and schedule meetings, site visits, and inspections.
    • Manage and track permit applications with local, state, and federal agencies.
    • Ensure all required documentation is complete, accurate, and submitted on time.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of permitting requirements and construction regulations.
    • Communicate with government agencies to resolve permit issues or delays.
    • Answer and route incoming calls, respond to emails, and manage general correspondence.
    • Organize and maintain project files, records, and documentation.
    • Assist with budget tracking, invoicing, and expense reporting.
    • Support with proposal preparation, coordinate project manager and client deliverables.
    • Utilize project management software, document control systems and company platforms.
    • Adapt quickly to new software tools and technology solutions for improved workflow efficiency.
    • Maintain accurate data entry and reporting within company systems.

    Job Type: Full Time (40+ hrs/week)

    Job Location: Royal Palm Beach, FL (Future Hybrid Opportunities)

    Required Education: Capabilities outweigh Formal Education, AutoCAD/Drafting skills a plus

    Required Experience:

    • 2+ years of experience in project coordination, preferably in an engineering, construction, or permitting environment.
    • Familiarity with local permitting processes and construction industry practices.
    • Experience with systems or technology tools in a professional setting.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Experience in a client-facing role.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    Compensation: $18-20/hr. (performance bonuses available) Salary is based upon Skill Level and Impact on existing projects. Relocation fees available upon request.
