    Project Coordinator – Your Job Duties and Impact

    Your role is instrumental in supporting the project from pre-kickoff through implementation, tracking to completion, project closeout, and monitoring on time and on budget projects.

    With the support of a Project Coordinator Assistant, you will:

    • Oversee the scope, planning, implementation, tracking, and completion of projects and their deliverables
    • Serve as the point of contact for on-site projects and activities, including managing the activities of subcontractors and scheduling projects with subcontractors
    • Initiate project kick-offs by contacting the customer, introducing yourself, and starting the project
    • Ensure that design drawings are completed, approved and finalized per the construction schedule
    • Monitor project progress to budget
    • Track and coordinate materials, manage orders and the RFI log, and oversee the schedule and budget
    • Create change orders for project scope changes, coordinate and collaborate with the design department regarding any scope changes
    • Attend weekly management project budget/forecast meeting and report status of projects, budget to actual forecasts

    You'll split your time between the company office (80-90%) and job sites in the field (10-20%). Field visits will include project kick-offs, job walks, and necessary coordination meetings.

    Project Coordinator – Your Required Skills, Experience & Personality Fit

    You have:

    • Prior experience as a construction project coordinator or project engineer
    • Proficiency in Bluebeam, Procore, or other construction management software tools or programs
    • Experience in submittals, RFIs, change orders, and procurement processes

    A successful Project Coordinator is a master of the many moving parts of multiple jobs, excellent at maintaining relationships with customers as the main point of contact, always on top of project budgets and statuses, and takes ownership over the project from kick-off to completion.

    Your compensation will be $30-$35 an hour, depending on experience, and overtime eligible.
