    Adams, Inc. is seeking a Project Coordinator Intern (3-6 months) to work with our Plumbing Department. This position will be mostly an office role at our location in Elkhorn, WI.     Summary Description:

    The Project Coordinator Internship offers hands-on experience in managing residential, commercial, or industrial plumbing projects. You’ll assist in coordinating schedules, materials, documentation, and communication between field and office teams, gaining firsthand knowledge of plumbing systems and project workflows.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Assist in job walk through’s, team weekly production schedule, and scheduling as needed

    Support Project Coordinator in maintaining timelines, tracking job progress, and updating job status reports

    Help prepare estimates, material quotes, RFCs, and job documentation

    Communicate with vendors and customers regarding schedules and project needs

    Use software tools (e.g., ServiceTitan, Procore, or MS Office) to track project activities

    Perform administrative support including document control, data entry, and state reporting

    Follow up with customers on jobs and estimates

    Requirements:

    Must have an interest in a temporary internship to prepare for a potential career in project management.

    Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or certification in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing Technology, or a related field (preferred).

    Interest in plumbing systems, building services, or construction coordination.

    Basic understanding of plumbing terminology, materials, and processes (preferred).

    Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with project tracking tools is a plus.

    Willing to work in both office and job site environments

    Team player with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn.

    Minimum Experience Requirements:

    No specific work experience is required, but must be able to perform data entry, customer service, and administrative tasks continuously

    Schedule:

    The schedule for this role is primarily Monday – Friday, day-time hours. The number of hours per week will be determined during the interview process and based on workload in combination with candidates availability.

    Computer Skills:

    PC proficiency is required, with experience in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook

    Reasoning Ability:

    Requires the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables. Can interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

    Mathematical Skills:

    Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

    Language Skills:

    Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Requires mastery of business English language skills to read, analyze, and interpret information, policies and procedures, and/or governmental regulations. Able to write reports and business correspondence.

    Physical Demands:

    While performing the duties of this job, the Employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The Employee often needs to sit, stand, walk, and use their hands for various tasks. The Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds of weight. Specific vision abilities this job requires include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
