Project Coordinator for Managed IT Services Company
Job Description
The IT Project Coordinator will manage IT service delivery projects, ensuring seamless coordination between clients, vendors, and internal teams. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet scope requirements. The Project Coordinator will track deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor project progress while communicating clearly with stakeholders.
The successful candidate will work directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within scope and budget. They will coordinate with IT engineers, vendors, and other departments to ensure all project aspects are compatible and aligned with technical feasibility.
Project Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate IT service implementation projects, including cloud migrations, cybersecurity upgrades, and network rollouts.
- Manage internal resources and third-party vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Ensure all projects meet scope, timeline, and budget requirements.
- Define project objectives in collaboration with internal stakeholders and technical teams.
- Track and manage service-level agreements (SLAs) to meet client expectations.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
- Identify and mitigate project risks proactively.
- Communicate progress updates with stakeholders and escalate critical issues as needed.
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies and client requirements.
- Utilize project management tools to track and manage project tasks.
- Develop process diagrams and workflow documentation as needed.
Project Coordinator Requirements:
- Proven experience in IT project coordination, preferably within a Managed IT Services (MSP) environment.
- Strong understanding of IT service delivery, cloud platforms, and network infrastructure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools - Connectwise PSA.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a high level of organization.
- Strong problem-solving, negotiation, and risk management skills.
- Familiarity with IT security best practices and compliance requirements.
- Experience working with Connectwise PSA is a plus.
