    We are seeking a highly motivated professional who knows how to lead a crew to complete tasks quickly and efficiently while meeting the highest high standards.

    The best suited candidate will enjoy engaging with clients, understand the best practices to accomplish jobs efficiently, and will be knowledgeable in general landscaping, construction, and tree care/services.

    We are a small company with five current employees and a lot quick growth.

    You will take part in various projects including, but not limited to:

    Outdoor construction including decks, pergolas, retaining walls

    Tree care and related services

    Hardscapes

    General landscaping

    Clean ups

    Junk removals and demolition

    Responsibilities

    Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the landscaping crew, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and to specifications.

    Plan and execute landscape maintenance tasks including planting, irrigating, and maintaining gardens and lawns.

    Oversee tree care operations, including pruning, trimming, and removal as necessary.

    Build and maintain landscape features such as pathways, retaining walls, and garden beds.

    Train crew members on proper techniques for landscape maintenance and equipment usage.

    Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all landscaping activities.

    Communicate effectively with clients to understand their landscaping needs and provide updates on project progress.

    Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, reporting any issues promptly.

    Qualifications

    Proven experience in landscape maintenance practices.

    Proven 1+ years experience in a landscaping crew leader role.

    Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.

    Knowledge of tree care techniques and experience in supervising tree care operations is preferred. Hardscape experience is preferred.

    Familiarity with irrigation systems, landscape construction and garden maintenance practices is a plus.

    Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to build effective relationships with clients and team members.

    Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions while lifting heavy materials as needed.

    A valid driver’s license is required for transportation to job sites. Must have a clean driving record. Must have experience driving with trailers.

    Herbicide/pesticide applicator license is a must.

    A current 1A hoisting license is a plus.

    Must be willing to perform other duties, such as junk removals, holiday light decor setups and takedowns, dog fecal removal, snow removal, etc.

    Ability to operate a plow, snowblower, and shovel is preffered.
