Project Design Consultant - Residential Renovation

We’re looking for a passionate and skilled Residential Remodeling Design Consultant to join our team. This role combines client consultation, design expertise, project coordination, and budget development, helping homeowners bring their renovation visions to life. As a Residential Project Design Consultant, you’ll play a pivotal role in helping clients bring their dream home renovations to reality. You’ll guide them from the initial engagement to finalizing the design and pricing of their renovation projects. Responsibilities: What You’ll Do: Client Consultation & Sales • Lead initial client meetings to assess project goals, budget, and design vision. • Educate homeowners on design options, materials, and pricing. • Develop and present detailed project proposals and budgets. • Close design and construction contracts and ensure a seamless project handoff. Design & Project Coordination • Assist clients in creating functional and aesthetically appealing remodeling plans. • Conduct on-site evaluations to assess structural and design feasibility. • Ensure designs comply with building codes and industry standards. • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors for smooth execution. Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience in residential remodeling, interior design, or construction consulting. • Strong knowledge of architectural design, building codes, and structural features. • Excellent communication and sales skills – the ability to build rapport and close deals. • Ability to develop project budgets and guide clients through the selection process. • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and driven to succeed. • Familiarity with construction management software and digital design tools. • Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and active auto insurance. • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Compensation: $50,000 - $150,000 yearly
