Summary: 

You will take on hands-on technical work, project leadership, and client interaction. You will lead the technical delivery of automation projects, work closely with clients, and guide small engineering teams through the design, development, and commissioning phases. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement PLC, HMI, and SCADA programs based on project specifications
• Design control systems, including panel layouts, instrumentation, and system architecture
• Create control narratives, sequences of operation, and system specifications
• Lead FATs, commissioning, and field support (some travel required)
• Manage project scope, schedule, and budget while coordinating engineering resources
• Serve as the primary technical contact for clients, leading design reviews and project updates
• Support proposal development, project scoping, and estimating

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science
• 10+ years of experience in industrial automation, controls, or systems integration
• 3+ years leading projects with direct client interaction
• Experience with PLC platforms (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Modicon, GE)
• Experience with HMI/SCADA platforms (Ignition, Wonderware, Cimplicity, FactoryTalk View)
• Knowledge of industrial networking, client/server systems, and testing/commissioning processes
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and project organization skills
