Project Engineer – Commercial Construction

We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Engineer to support the planning and execution of large-scale commercial construction projects, including schools, hospitals, and municipal buildings. This role will work closely with Project Managers and Site Superintendents to ensure quality, scheduling, and budget compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily project coordination, scheduling, and document control.

• Support project bidding, submittals, RFIs, and change orders.

• Monitor field activities to ensure compliance with design, quality, and safety standards.

• Collaborate with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to maintain project timelines.

• Track materials, budgets, and job cost reports throughout the project lifecycle.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2+ Years in a Project Engineering role within commercial construction

• Experience with civil construction projects like schools, hospitals, or public facilities

• Proficient in Procore, Bluebeam, and construction scheduling software

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Must be located in or willing to travel to project sites across the region
