  • Responsibilities

    The Project Engineer helps manage the overall project direction, completion, and financial outcome, and administers both the owner and subcontractor relationships for assigned projects. The Project Engineer contributes to the project team in the development of our projects and the general coordination of the project team of architects, general contractors, engineers, consultants, and vendors. · Responsibilities: • Assists the Project Management/Administrative teams in all administrative duties. • Responsible for filing, preparing, and typing correspondence for Project Managers. • Assists pre-construction team with submittals, job specifications, and OM Manuals (Operations Maintenance). • Retrieves work project drawings, copies, and prints. • Performs data entry, report preparation, and completes various forms and copies of documents.Assists with data entry and inputs RFI’s (Request for Information), Change Orders, and billing information for projects. • Assists and maintains documents for Budget/Kick-off/Turnover meetings. • Coordinates military base pass access and registration where necessary. • Assists the PM by preparing site-specific safety plans as directed. • Assist with preconstruction efforts. • Assist with labor control reports of the project. • Attend lead project meetings, including progress, pre-construction, and turnover. • Update spreadsheets and database with project data as information changes. • Provide administrative support with meeting preparation, takes and complies meeting minutes. • Perform other reasonable tasks consistent with your professional abilities that may be requested by the Company. Qualifications: • High School Diploma or equivalent. • 5 + years of relevant experience. • Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures. • Ability to read and write English. • Strong communication skills. • Able to work individually and in group settings. • Proficient in Microsoft Office. • Ability to resolve issues constructively. • Ability to read and interpret sophisticated schematics and design plans. • Strong mathematical and problem-solving abilities. • Strong organizational skills. • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and demonstrate a flexible approach to work assignments. • Effective time management skills. • Working knowledge of safety and compliance issues within the construction industry. • Good phone and email etiquette skills. • Must be a very competent writer of business letters, quotations, and proposals. Compensation: $40 hourly DOE
