Project Engineer - HVAC - Base Salary to 115k/year - Mount Juliet, TN
Our client is a industry leading manufacturer of residential and commercial water heaters and boilers. The team is seeking a Project Engineer to join their Electronic Controls division.
The Project Engineer will be responsible for developing systems where the electronics (hardware) and the software work together cohesively for their water heaters, boilers, and heat pumps. This role has work from home flexibility - 2 days at home; 3 in office.
Responsibilities:
Lead development and delivery of customized electronic control solutions
Spearheading embedded electronic control projects through the full development life cycle: from concept to production
Drive design reviews and technical discussions
Translate product requirements into system spec's, architecture, and documentation
Support the design and integration of sensor inputs/outputs, temperature control logic, and serial communications
Develop and execute test validation plans to ensure product reliability and performance
Work cross functionally with various teams acting as "go-to" person for all things relating to NPD
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Electrical/Systems/Mechanical Engineering
5+ years in electronic systems development with focus on embedded control systems for hardware/firmware integration
Hands on experience running new product development projects from start to finish
Background in temperature control systems, sensor integration, and/or serial communication protocols
Plus for background in HVAC controls, water heaters and/or boiler systems
Familiarity with Agile or hybrid development processes for hardware, firmware, and software development
Compensation:
Our client is offering a base salary up to 115k/year along with bonus. The team will also help with relocation assistance to get to the greater Nashville area. Comprehensive benefits with work from home flexibility.
