We’re working with an established industrial solutions provider that delivers sustainable systems for water, wastewater, and energy recovery. For decades, they’ve partnered with industries like renewable energy, food & beverage, power generation, and semiconductor manufacturing to protect people, the environment, and equipment.
They’re looking for a Project Engineer II to join their engineering team. This role involves providing technical support across multiple departments while managing assigned projects from start to finish. Key Responsibilities
Analyze project specifications and performance requirements to determine proper equipment design.
Support Project Management and Aftermarket teams with technical expertise.
Review and create technical datasheets, general arrangement drawings, and detailed system drawings.
Develop Bills of Materials (BOMs) and oversee product/system layouts, schematics, and equipment drawings.
Evaluate field installations and recommend design modifications.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and governing codes through calculations and design reviews.
Collaborate with vendors, customers, and consulting engineers to resolve technical issues.
Contribute to new product development strategies and continuous improvement.
Travel to customer or vendor sites for meetings or inspections when needed.
Qualifications
BS degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or related Engineering discipline.
3–5 years of engineering experience in an industrial or capital equipment setting.
Experience working with cross-functional teams (sales, manufacturing, vendors).
Strong technical foundation in mechanical systems, mathematics, and physics.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Inventor, and standard business software (MS Office, Excel).
Skilled in applying engineering creativity and problem-solving to new and existing projects.
Additional Information
Occasional travel, including cross-border trips.
Work may be performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to moderate noise, dust, and moving machinery—PPE and adherence to safety protocols required.
Physical requirements: standing, walking, and occasional lifting (up to 25 lbs).
