Role Overview

The Project Engineer supports the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects across New York City. This role works closely with the Project Manager, design teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget. Strong communication and coordination skills are vital to success in this position.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with project scheduling, budgeting, and daily coordination.

Facilitate clear communication among project stakeholders.

Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, and submittals.

Support procurement activities and vendor coordination.

Conduct site visits to monitor quality, progress, and safety.

Maintain accurate project documentation and progress reports.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

1–3 years of experience in construction project engineering or coordination.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Familiarity with MS Project, Bluebeam, or Procore is a plus, but not required.
