    Position Overview:
    As a Project Engineer at MBL, you’ll play a critical role in designing innovative site solutions, navigating local and state permitting processes, and shaping the communities we serve. Your expertise in site layout, grading and drainage design, utility planning, and regulatory compliance will be key to our success.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Lead and collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams
    • Design residential and commercial site layouts, grading, drainage, utilities, and roadways
    • Prepare comprehensive civil engineering plans and reports
    • Conduct drainage calculations, wetlands reports, and environmental submissions
    • Represent MBL at municipal meetings and project hearings
    • Deliver professional presentations to clients, boards, and regulatory agencies

    Required Skills and Abilities:
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Self-motivated and collaborative team player
    • Creative thinker and effective problem-solver
    • Ability to manage changing priorities and delegate effectively

    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (required)
    • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification (required)
    • 4+ years of civil engineering experience (preferred)
    • Soil Evaluator license (preferred but not required)
    • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D (required)
    • Experience with HydroCAD or similar stormwater modeling software
    • Skilled in Microsoft Excel and Word; GIS experience a plus
