    Project Engineer – Civil/Structural

    We are seeking a Project Engineer to join our team in McDonough, GA. This position is ideal for individuals with a Civil Engineering degree who are eager to start or advance their career in structural design. You'll work on innovative light gauge steel projects, applying engineering techniques to create safe, efficient, and cost-effective solutions.

    As a Project Engineer, you will:

    • Plan and execute independent engineering work, applying judgment and technical expertise.
    • Design and detail curtainwall, load-bearing, and roofing systems using light gauge steel products.
    • Perform structural analysis and calculations in compliance with governing codes and standards.
    • Utilize computer-assisted design software to prepare engineering documents.
    • Develop cost estimates and analyze specifications to ensure compliance with performance requirements.
    • Evaluate proposals and determine feasibility for new or modified structures.
    • Provide technical guidance on erection techniques, materials, and long-term planning.
    • Stay current with industry trends and technological developments.
    • Inspect existing projects and recommend repairs or replacements as needed.

    What We're Looking For:

    • Education: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering (required).
    • Entry-level candidates are welcome. Preferred two years of experience with advanced knowledge in civil and/or structural engineering, obtainable usually through a combination of experience and continuing education; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
    • Strong knowledge of engineering principles, codes, and design software.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

    Location: This role is located at our Engineering Office in McDonough, GA.
