Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in either engineering (civil, environmental, mining), geology, or environmental science
- 3 to 5 years of experience in abandoned mine lands related work with at least 1 year in the construction management field
- Experience in ArcGIS Pro Software and other Esri products (field maps, ArcGIS Online)
- A solid understanding of landscape and grading construction
- Experience with topographic surveying and mapping techniques
- Ability to provide construction oversight, inspections and any related documentation, and capable in the writing of construction specifications
- Ability to travel and perform investigation/inspections of abandoned mine related features
- Ability to operate All Terrain-Vehicles / Utility Terrain-Vehicles
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
- Excellent interpersonal and effective oral and written communication skills
- Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record; position requires operating a company or personal vehicle during work hours for business-related travel
Preferred:
- Experience in AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD 3D software applications
- Familiarity of Carlson Civil Suite and Natural Regrade software
