Position Overview
****As a Project Coordinator, you will play a vital role in the success of Streib's commercial electrical projects by supporting the field and office teams in all aspects of planning, coordination, and execution. You'll help manage schedules, procurement, documentation, and job costs; building the skills needed to advance toward a Project Manager role.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily project activities across field and office teams
- Assist in developing and updating construction schedules and timelines
- Support procurement of materials, tools, and subcontractor services
- Collaborate with clients, vendors, and inspectors to ensure smooth communication
- Manage and organize documentation including submittals, RFIs, and change orders
- Assist with tracking job costs, preparing billing materials, and handling closeout tasks
- Work closely with Project Managers to ensure successful project delivery
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in project engineering, coordination, or construction support
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and time management
- Clear and confident communicator with both field and office teams
- Familiarity with construction drawings, schedules, and specifications
- Eagerness to learn and grow within a fast-moving environment
- Background in electrical or construction trades is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Procore, or similar project tools
Work Schedule
****Full-time, Monday–Friday
May require occasional flexibility depending on project deadlines
