About the Role

The Project Estimator supports the estimating team by assisting with material takeoffs, pricing support, proposal preparation, and job documentation. This is an entry-level role designed for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and interested in learning the estimating side of construction. This position provides hands-on learning with construction plans, materials, and pricing while working closely with experienced estimators and leadership.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook)
• Strong math skills and attention to detail
• Ability to read measurements and perform basic calculations
• Willingness to learn construction materials and processes Good verbal and written communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION

• Coursework or degree in Construction Management, Business, or related field
• Internship, trade school, or construction-related work experience
• Familiarity with construction drawings or blueprints · Experience with estimating or takeoff software (a plus, not required)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with basic material takeoffs and quantity entry
• Organize drawings, bids, and estimating files
• Help prepare proposal documents and bid packages
• Request and track vendor pricing under supervision
• Support job setup and handoff documentation after award
• Maintain estimating logs and pricing records
• Participate in training and development activities
