Project Foreman – Commercial Concrete Construction

The ideal candidate will represent the company professionally in all field operations and work with minimal supervision. This position reports to the Supervisor, Project Manager, Estimator, and Senior Management.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a commercial construction crew of 4–8 laborers, ensuring productivity and safety.
• Read and interpret blueprints accurately to guide daily operations.
• Plan and coordinate project activities at least three days in advance.
• Delegate tasks effectively and build efficient crew combinations.
• Order materials and schedule subcontractors to maintain workflow and avoid delays.
• Complete all necessary documentation accurately and on schedule.
• Maintain professional and respectful communication with clients, coworkers, subcontractors, and general contractors.
• Monitor crew performance and assist in evaluating skill levels and training needs.
• Work closely with management to resolve field-related issues.

Required Skills & Experience

• Advanced carpentry skills and extensive knowledge of concrete construction.
• Strong grasp of safety protocols and job site best practices.
• Experience working from blueprints and construction drawings.
• Knowledge of concrete placing and finishing processes.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and time management abilities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Required Certifications

• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification
• First Aid Certification
• Valid Driver’s License
• DOT Medical Card
