    Job Description

     Project Frog is seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to lead the development of KitConnect (kit-connect.com), a cloud application for Industrialized Construction. As part of the KitConnect Leadership, this individual will manage our team of software engineers, while driving long term software architecture strategy for the platform. There will also be ample opportunity for hands-on development, as we’re looking for individuals who are a great at writing amazing code as they are managing a team.     JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Manage a team of software engineers (full stack, desktop, cloud backend) to deliver high quality working software on a regular cadence
    • Work directly with the Vice President of Product & Innovation to plan and drive short and long term software development strategy and product roadmap
    • Work closely with KitConnect product management to turn feature requirements into software development plans using an agile process
    • This is a hands-on position,  full stack coding/development especially as it relates to our cloud technology will be required
    • Development of KitConnect web applications and cloud-based tools, working to create reliable, secure, performant and scalable software for our customers and partners.
    • Work closely with key stakeholders and partners, including BIM experts, virtual design & construction managers, architects and structural engineers to define product requirements and system logic.
    • Adhere to an Agile approach for software development to iteratively deliver working software on short release cycles

    SPECIFIC SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

    • BS/MS in computer science or equivalent experience
    • Experience managing a team of software developers required
    • Experience leading software architecture design for complex cloud based SaaS offerings required
    • Experience with security best practices for a modern cloud service required
    • Experience with Autodesk Forge APIs strongly desired
    • Experience with Autodesk Revit APIs strongly desired
    • Experience developing cloud based solutions for the Architecture, Engineering & Construction (AEC) Industry strongly desired
    • 8+ years hands-on cloud software development experience with multiple environments, languages & tools including but not limited to
    •        Proficiency with Amazon Web Services (AWS) or other cloud infrastructure technologies (Required)
    •        Expert in modern Javascript frameworks and libraries, such as Angular, React, etc. (Required)
    •        Git, Docker, Visual Studio, Kubernetes etc. (strongly desired)
    • Experience with AWS (EC2, EBS, Route 53 , Cloud Front), Docker
    • Experience with REST API development in a Service Oriented Architecture
    • React JS(V 16.9.0) with knowledge of memo, callback api and redux strongly desired 
    • Knowledge of Node.js - Express.js framework
    • Solid understanding of typical web application architecture
    • Experience working on agile software projects with short release cycles
