    Position Overview

    We are seeking a Project Geologist to support a broad range of environmental projects, including site investigations, feasibility studies, and the design and implementation of remediation strategies for both traditional and emerging contaminants such as PFAS.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Prepare work plans, health & safety plans, and Phase I/II Environmental Site Assessment (ESA) reports

    • Conduct site investigations and collect samples (groundwater, soil, surface water, and soil gas)

    • Support design and implementation of remedial systems in compliance with CERCLA, RCRA, and state programs

    • Document field activities and contribute to technical reporting and recommendations

    • Assist in feasibility studies, remedial action planning, and regulatory communications

    • Participate in client coordination and project execution

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Hydrology, or a related field from an ABET-accredited institution

    • 4+ years of relevant experience in environmental consulting

    • Must possess an active Professional Geologist (P.G.) certification

    • 40-hour HAZWOPER certification (or ability to obtain)

    • Experience with environmental sampling and site assessments

    • Familiarity with state-specific programs (e.g., VOAP) is a plus

    • Strong communication, technical writing, and analytical skills

    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

    • Willingness to travel, including occasional overnight stays

    • Valid U.S. driver’s license
