    Job Description

    Join our dynamic team in Baltimore as an Information Project Specialist III. You will play a key role in enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring compliance with documentation standards. The position is based in Baltimore, MD

    • Review and assess the quality of existing SOPs.
    • Organize and manage documentation in a version-controlled environment (e.g., SharePoint).
    • Collaborate with the Office of Procurement staff to identify and fill gaps in documentation.
    • Ensure SOPs comply with MTA documentation standards.
    • Assist with documentation and process reviews, including meeting coordination, SME engagement, collecting input, and tracking deliverables.
    • Gather information through interviews, SOP testing, and reviewing existing documentation.
    • Review and edit content for clarity, grammar, and consistency across formats, and redesign as needed (e.g., the Office of Procurement intranet page).
    • Partner with the Office of Procurement staff to identify opportunities to streamline or enhance business processes.
    • Manage multiple documentation projects and lead cross-functional collaboration.
    • Translate complex technical or procedural content into user-friendly language.
    • Meet tight deadlines and adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Minimum:

    • BA/BS plus 4 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

    Preferred:

    • Experience in Technical Writing and SOP Development
    • Proficiency in Document Management Systems and Version Control
    • Experience with cross-functional collaboration and project coordination
