    Job Description

    AECOM Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a Project Management, New York, NY.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Analyze project budgets, schedules, and cost estimates to identify potential variances against baseline values to report to project stakeholders
    • Collect data and prepare various forecasts and performance trends on key financial metrics on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis across project and program
    • Manage project budgets, track project expenditures, change orders, and contract modifications
    • Perform financial and quantitative data collection and analyse of a variety of projects and programs across projects
    • Create and manage reports, presentations, and databases
    • Perform analytic tasks to support strategy, business / financial planning, and operations for various projects and programs
    • Monitor the status of projects and programs, with the ability to understand their relationship and potential impacts to both operational and financial performance
    • Support corporate initiatives and communicate progress with senior management
    • Support Project Managers in managing company project management software systems
    • Research data for subsequent use in analyzing cost and schedule analysis
    • Assist Project Managers in risk identification, assessment, and development of risk mitigation plans
    • Read and understand client contracts and subcontracts, particularly as related to scope, schedule, budget, and risk
    • Prepare a project plan with project manager to ensure all procedures are in place to meet contractual requirements
    • Facilitate project review meetings and document meeting outcomes and action items
    • Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architectural Engineering, or a related field of study and 2 years in job offered, or as Project Management Analyst, Cost Estimator, or a related occupation.

    Alternatively, employer will accept a Master's degree in Construction Management, Architectural Engineering, or a related field of study and no experience.

    Employer will accept experience and skills gained in pursuit of university-level degree via coursework, projects, or internships. Skills may be gained concurrently.

    Position requires experience in the following:

    1. Microsoft Office Suite, including MS Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, and Power Apps to create dashboards
    2. Completion of at least one project that included construction cost, scheduling, estimating, purchasing, engineering principles and techniques, and accounting principles
    3. Completion of at least one project that included interpreting contract documents, drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and project schedules; managing contracts, budgets, schedules, overseeing subcontractor performance, and working with stakeholders and governing agencies on behalf of a public works owner
    4. Bluebeam Revu
    5. Project control processes and methodologies including Earned Value Management (EVM)
