Project Manager – Industrial Construction
Location: Indianapolis, IN, with travel
About the Role
We are seeking a driven and hands-on Project Manager to lead industrial and construction projects across the United States. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys being on-site, and can confidently lead projects from kickoff through completion.
Projects vary in size and scope—from short-term assignments lasting a few days to large-scale initiatives spanning multiple years. This is a highly visible role where you’ll serve as the primary point of contact and ensure projects are executed safely, on time, and within budget.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the primary on-site leader and point of contact for all project stakeholders
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams
- Oversee project execution including budget, schedule, and quality control
- Ensure job site safety and compliance with all standards
- Communicate directly with clients, ownership, and project representatives
- Manage both self-performed work and subcontracted scopes
- Drive customer satisfaction through proactive communication and problem-solving
Project Scope
Projects may include:
- Industrial facility construction and upgrades
- Mechanical and electrical infrastructure
- Factory piping and systems installation
- Rigging and equipment installation
- Civil work including concrete and site development
What We’re Looking For
Required:
- 3+ years of project management experience (construction, industrial, commercial, or similar)
- Strong scheduling experience (Excel, MS Project, or similar tools)
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Confident, proactive leadership presence on job sites
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and moving parts
Preferred:
- Industrial construction experience
- Engineering or construction-related degree
- PMP or similar project management certification
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $95K – $105K
- Annual performance bonus
