Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Project Manager (PM) to provide leadership, direction, and oversight for the planning, design, and construction activities of a large, complex federal program. This role is responsible for managing project execution, confirming contract compliance, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and delivering high‑quality results that meet program objectives, stakeholder expectations, and regulatory requirements.
The Project Manager will serve as the primary point of coordination between AECOM’s Program Management (PgM), local and State stakeholders, and contractors, responsible for clear, proactive communication, and proactive issue identification and resolution. This position requires a seasoned professional capable of managing competing priorities, navigating complex technical and contractual requirements, and driving project performance from initiation through closeout.

This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of an enhanced background investigation, which may include, but is not limited to, verification of employment and education, a criminal history review, drug screening, and a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check, as applicable.
This position reports to AECOM Program Manager and will have a number of direct report responsibilities.
