    Job Description

    We are seeking to add an experienced Project Manager / Commercial and O&I Sales Representative to be part of the team. This individual should have experience in logistics, warehousing services, and managing commercial projects from sale through execution in the Chicago area.

    The ideal candidate is a HUNTER and self-starter with a proven track record of establishing new client business, while also successfully managing and delivering projects with high client satisfaction and retention.

    Sales will focus on commercial and logistics solutions including: FF&E/OS&E, warehousing, transportation, labor, installation, final mile, white glove services, and other services within the commercial segment.

    Key Responsibilities

    Sales & Business Development
    • Generate new sales opportunities through cold calling, industry events, prospecting, networking, social media, and marketing alignment
    • Conduct market research to identify selling opportunities and evaluate customer needs
    • Consult clients to understand needs and develop customized logistics and project solutions
    • Align with local and national organizations to drive revenue growth
    • Meet and exceed assigned revenue targets
    • Negotiate and close deals while managing customer expectations
    Project Management & Execution
    • Serve as the primary point of contact from sale through project execution and completion
    • Manage project timelines, budgets, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes
    • Coordinate cross-functionally with operations, warehouse teams, transportation, and installation crews
    • Oversee FF&E/OS&E projects, including scheduling, delivery, installation, and final mile execution
    • Proactively identify and resolve project risks, delays, or service issues
    • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
    • Maintain strong client communication throughout the lifecycle of each project
    Collaboration & Operations
    • Work with General Managers to create competitive and profitable pricing
    • Partner with Sales Leadership and Operations to design optimized solutions
    • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless handoff from sales to execution
    • Support and mentor sales team members to drive growth and diversification
    Reporting & Strategy
    • Create and present regular reports on sales performance and project status
    • Maintain accurate customer profiles and pipeline activity in HubSpot CRM
    • Develop marketing ideas and campaigns to increase lead generation
    • Track financial performance, including margin and project profitability

    Requirements

    • 3–5+ years of experience in commercial sales, logistics, warehousing, or moving industry
    • Must be in the Chicago Area
    • Experience managing projects, timelines, and cross-functional teams
    • Proven success in new business development and client retention
    • Strong understanding of FF&E/OS&E, logistics, and installation services preferred
    • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
    • Strong financial acumen with understanding of P&L and pricing strategies
    • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM tools (HubSpot preferred)
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
    • Self-motivated, results-driven, and highly organized
    • Travel: 95%
    • College degree preferred
