About the Opportunity

Technical Source is partnering with a leading biotechnology manufacturer on a large-scale FactoryTalk View SE Distributed modernization initiative - a critical program tied directly to production continuity, system reliability, and regulatory compliance.

This is a high-visibility role supporting the upgrade of distributed FactoryTalk systems that power GMP manufacturing operations. You’ll be at the center of a complex, multi-workstream effort, working alongside Engineering, QA, and CSV teams to ensure seamless execution in a live production environment.

What You’ll Be Driving

• Lead and coordinate parallel FactoryTalk View SE Distributed system upgrades across multiple workstreams
• Own and manage project schedules and milestones using Microsoft Project
• Drive execution visibility and accountability through agile-style tracking (JIRA preferred)
• Partner with QA and CSV teams to track validation deliverables (IQ/OQ/CSV)
• Proactively identify risks, remove roadblocks, and protect timelines in a live GMP environment
• Align cross-functional teams, including engineering, automation, and external vendors
• Deliver clear, concise weekly updates to leadership and stakeholders
• Capture and share lessons learned across system environments to improve overall execution

What You Bring

• Proven project management experience within a GMP pharmaceutical or biotech environment
• Experience supporting validated system upgrades in live manufacturing operations
• Strong understanding of distributed control systems
• FactoryTalk View SE Distributed experience strongly preferred
• Experience with DeltaV or similar DCS also considered
• Familiarity with CSV and validation lifecycle (IQ/OQ)
• Experience managing multiple concurrent workstreams and competing priorities

Preferred Experience

• Hands-on exposure to FactoryTalk View SE Distributed environments
• Experience working with virtualized environments (vSphere)
• Familiarity with JIRA, Agile, or Kanban tracking methodologies
• Demonstrated ability to lead through influence in matrixed teams

• 3–7 years of experience in automation, infrastructure, or technical project management
• Comfortable operating in highly regulated, high-complexity GMP environments
• A strong communicator who can bring clarity to busy, cross-functional teams
• Highly organized, proactive, and risk-aware with a solutions mindset
