Construction Project Manager - Grand Rapids

A growing general contractor based in Grand Rapids, MI, is seeking a Construction Project Manager to join their team. Founded in 2021, the company provides preconstruction, owner representation, construction management, design-build, and general contracting services, with a focus on delivering quality, value, and dependability.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor subcontractors and vendors.

• Apply OSHA and MIOSHA safety standards.

• Demonstrate expertise in general trades (carpentry, doors, frames, hardware, millwork).

• Maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and team members.

• Collaborate with accounting, estimating, HR, project coordination, and management for safe, successful project execution.

• Oversee all phases of the construction process from start to finish.

• Communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing.

• Use strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Google Drive, estimating/accounting software).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering (preferred but not required).

• Minimum 5 years of recent commercial construction experience.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with proven team-based project experience.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and related project software.

• Willingness to travel.
