JCO is currently on the lookout for a Heavy Civil Project Manager for one of our top clients! This dynamic company is one of the top General Contractors and is looking for hardworking individuals to join their team. The idea candidate will have previous experience leading small to medium sized civil projects, specifically in the water/wastewater. The Duties will include:
- Managing the construction process, project safety, quality, schedule, cost control, contracts, proposals, estimates, documentation turnover, client relations/management, and field staff
- Finalize AutoCAD installation packages from field team.
- Produce project billings, budgets, and purchase orders,
- Complete effective and accurate submittals, as well as process change order requests, and related project administrative documents.
- Leading the project's quality process and developing, scheduling, and leading project close-out processes are also key responsibilities
- Building and maintaining effective relationships with clients, GC’s, superintendents, safety manager, field personnel, estimators, project managers, and all others involved in projects
The Ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years of Heavy industrial construction experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or other related discipline preferred.
- Advanced Excel and Adobe Acrobat or Bluebeam skills required.
- Able to read plans and specifications for all the disciplines on a typical water/wastewater project.
- Alternative Procurement Delivery Method (APDM) experience highly desired (CSP, CMAR, D-B, JOC, etc.)
