    Position Summary

    CereCore is seeking an experienced MEDITECH MaaS Implementation Project Manager with a strong background in MaaS implementations, to join our team. In this role, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of a MEDITECH MaaS implementation and transition projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and client expectations are met.

    The ideal candidate will bring a combination of technical expertise, operational understanding, and strong communication skills to guide clients through successful cloud-hosted MEDITECH Expanse implementations, upgrades, and MaaS transitions. This position will require frequent travel (approximately 50% - 75% annually) to client sites to support project activities, stakeholder engagement, and onsite collaboration.

    You will serve as a trusted advisor, working closely with clients, MEDITECH, and internal CereCore teams to deliver quality solutions that drive improved clinical and operational outcomes within a MaaS delivery framework.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage MEDITECH Expanse MaaS implementation, migration, and optimization projects from initiation through completion, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and quality objectives.
    • Collaborate with clients to define project requirements, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives specific to MaaS, hosting, and managed services models.
    • Partner closely with MEDITECH, hosting, infrastructure, and managed services teams to coordinate activities and dependencies across the MaaS ecosystem.
    • Lead workflow assessments and gap analyses, offering recommendations and solutions to optimize system utilization within standardized MaaS constraints.
    • Oversee build, testing, training, cutover planning, and go-live readiness activities for MaaS-hosted environments.
    • Identify, document, and mitigate project risks and issues, escalating when necessary, including risks related to hosting, integrations, and vendor dependencies.
    • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, status reports, and documentation in accordance with department standards and MaaS governance requirements.
    • Facilitate effective communication across stakeholders, including clients, technical teams, MEDITECH, and executive leadership.
    • Drive lessons-learned discussions and contribute to continuous improvement of MaaS implementation and project management methodologies.
    • Provide mentorship and guidance to project team members, promoting collaboration and accountability.
    • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through professional, proactive, and transparent project management practices in a managed services environment.

    Position Requirements

    • Minimum of 7+ years of progressive project management experience, including direct experience leading multiple MaaS implementations in large, complex environments.
    • Proven success with full EHR lifecycle implementations, including modules such as Pharmacy, Oncology, Ancillaries, and Surgery, within hosted or cloud-based delivery models.
    • Strong understanding of hospital operations, clinical workflows, and the operational impact of transitioning to a MaaS model.
    • Experience with MEDITECH READY implementation methodologies strongly preferred.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-vendor environments involving hosting, infrastructure, interfaces, and third-party applications.
    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with technical, clinical, and executive stakeholders.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
    • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

    Education

    • Bachelor’s degree preferred (Healthcare, Business, or related field).
    • PMP certification strongly preferred.
    • Master’s degree or equivalent advanced credential in Project Management, Healthcare Administration, or Information Systems is a plus.
