    Position Summary

    Project Managers oversee the full lifecycle of fabrication and construction projects, from award through completion, managing budgets, schedules, client communication, and coordination with internal fabrication/engineering teams. Joining a small, high-performing PM team, this role suits experienced professionals who excel in financial oversight, technical coordination, and relationship management in a custom fabrication environment.

    Responsibilities

    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously through all phases (planning, fabrication, installation, closeout)
    • Oversee project financials: budgeting, cost tracking, change orders, and profitability analysis
    • Serve as primary point of contact for clients, architects, and general contractors
    • Coordinate with internal teams (design, engineering, fabrication shop) to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery
    • Analyze project data using Excel (including pivot tables) and maintain accurate records
    • Read and interpret architectural drawings and specifications
    • Travel to job sites or client locations (1–2 days/week, primarily local with some national travel)
    • Identify and resolve issues proactively to maintain project success and client satisfaction

    Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree (field flexible)
    • Minimum 5 years of project management experience in construction/fabrication
    • Strong financial acumen with proven ability to manage budgets and analyze costs using Excel
    • Proficiency in CAD/3D modeling software (Fusion, Solid Edge, SolidWorks, Rhino, or similar)
    • Excellent communication, reliability, and relationship-building skills
    • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings
    • Willingness to travel 1–2 days/week (mostly regional, occasional national)

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Direct fabrication/shop experience (e.g., welding, running, or working closely with a production shop)
    • Experience in architectural millwork, cabinetry, metal/glass, or similar custom projects
    • Proven track record managing complex, high-end custom projects
    • Expert with Excel including Pivot Tables

    Compensation

    We offer a competitive compensation package with base salary between $100,000 to $125,000 plus quarterly profit sharing.

    Travel expenses fully covered (mileage reimbursement, company credit card)

    Location & Work Arrangement

    Our office is in Philadelphia, PA.

    Hybrid work is possible. You will be fully on-site for the first 90 days. After 90 days it is possible to work up to 2 days/week remotely, which is based on performance and reliability
