    Job Description

    Our Fortune 100 financial services client, a global payments and digital commerce provider, is seeking a Project Manager, Merchant Marketing to support the end-to-end execution of integrated marketing programs for high-profile merchants and cobrand partners. This role sits within a dynamic marketing organization that is evolving toward a more insight-led, performance-focused approach, designed to deepen client relationships and drive measurable business outcomes.

    The Project Manager will oversee marketing initiatives across multiple channels, partner closely with cross-functional teams and agencies, and support business development efforts that strengthen client engagement and brand equity.

    The Details:

    • Location: Remote within the U.S. (San Francisco area preferred). Occasional travel to San Francisco may be required for remote candidates.
    • Duration: Approximately through September 2026 with the possibility of extension (must be able to work on Blend’s W2)

    ** What you’ll do:**

    • Manage the planning and execution of integrated marketing programs for merchants and cobrand partners across digital, social, influencer, and event channels.
    • Partner cross-functionally with internal teams including Sales, Analytics, Product, Legal, and Communications, as well as external agencies, to deliver campaigns aligned to strategic objectives.
    • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring successful delivery of marketing initiatives.
    • Oversee agency relationships, creative development workflows, client feedback cycles, and final asset delivery.
    • Support proposal development and ideation for B2B, B2C, and partnership marketing programs.
    • Create and deliver client-facing materials and actively participate in client discussions via conference calls and virtual meetings.
    • Apply strong analytical thinking to evaluate campaign performance and support optimization discussions.
    • Ensure consistent attention to detail, quality standards, and brand alignment across all deliverables.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Education & Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree preferred.
    • 10+ years of marketing experience, with demonstrated success in campaign management, client partnerships, co-brand marketing, or related roles.
    • Proven experience managing multiple concurrent projects and complex agency relationships.
    • Background in payments, financial services, or consumer marketing is strongly preferred.

    Skills & Capabilities:

    • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, with advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
    • Experience working in fast-paced, highly collaborative environments.
    • Ability to synthesize insights, manage details, and keep initiatives moving forward under tight timelines.
    • Proactive, results-driven mindset with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

    Additional Information

    The starting pay range for this role is $60.00 - $65.00 per hour. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on several factors including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, certifications, training, and location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range and determining factors for compensation are considered for each individual circumstance.
