Job Description
AHRC New York City is seeking a Project Manager to coordinate and oversee construction projects from conception to completion.
Salary : $70,000 per year plus a comprehensive Benefit package. See Benefit information below.
Schedule : Monday thru Friday 9am-5pm
Please note that this is NOT a software based position but a Field position in Architecture/Construction.

Qualifications
** REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or relevant field strongly preferred. Longstanding and proven experience in facility management and/or construction development will be considered in lieu of academic requirement.
In-depth understanding and demonstrated competency in construction procedures and material and project management principles, and ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations, property management procedures and related legal requirements, and quality and health and safety standards.
Expertise in use of Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel and Powerpoint).
Experience in project management software and mapping software a plus.
Strong organizational and time management skills and highly detailed-oriented, with specific focus on ensuring and maintaining accuracy in record keeping.
Ability to plan and see the “big picture” and problem-solve quickly as needed.
Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities, with proven leadership skills and ability to interact effectively and cooperatively with board members, colleagues, consultants, the public, and program consumers.
Able to successfully and consistently navigate in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated passion for mission of the agency.
