  • Responsibilities

    The Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management of residential and commercial painting projects, ensuring jobs are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, organization, and communication skills, along with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while delivering an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities: This position requires you to be on the road and checking in on projects and being a liason with our customers. Project Planning & Coordination • Review project scope, estimates, and specifications prior to job start • Coordinate with estimators, customers, designers, suppliers, and internal team members for any questions or clarifications needed • Proactively identify and resolve risks, delays, and scheduling conflicts Customer Experience & Communication • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project • Conduct pre-project walkthroughs to confirm scope, colors, and expectations • Provide regular updates on progress, timelines, and changes • Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally • Ensure a 5-star customer experience from start to finish Crew Leadership & Field Management • Manage and oversee painting, drywall, crews and subcontractors daily • Provide clear direction, accountability, and performance feedback • Foster strong relationships and retention of high-quality crews • Conduct job site visits to ensure efficiency, professionalism, and adherence to standards Quality Assurance & Safety • Ensure all work meets TrueCoat’s standards for prep, application, and finish • Enforce safety protocols and OSHA compliance on all job sites • Protect customer property through proper prep and masking procedures • Conduct final walkthroughs and complete punch-list items to customer satisfaction Financial & Administrative Oversight • Manage project budgets, labor hours, and material usage • Ensure projects align with approved estimates and profitability targets • Handle change orders while protecting job margins • Approve invoices, timesheets, and purchase orders • Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting Qualifications: • Experience in project management (home services, construction, or painting preferred) • Strong leadership and team management skills • Excellent communication and customer service abilities • Highly organized with strong attention to detail • Process-oriented with advanced time management skills • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment • Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach • Familiarity with budgeting, scheduling, and job costing Compensation: $80,000 - $110,000 yearly
