    The Project Manager, Pharmacy Strategy, serves as a key execution partner to the Principal, Pharmacy Strategy, and broader leadership, helping to translate strategic priorities into organized, actionable workstreams. Reporting to the SVP, Pharmacy Strategy, this role is responsible for driving coordination, planning, and follow-through across payer, PBM, specialty pharmacy, and provider-facing initiatives. The Project Manager, Pharmacy Strategy, ensures complex initiatives stay organized, stakeholders remain aligned, risks and dependencies are actively managed, and strategic work progresses with discipline, visibility, and accountability.

    Key Responsibilities

    Initiative Planning & Execution Management
    • Partner with the Principal, Pharmacy Strategy, and initiative leaders to translate strategic priorities into clear workplans, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and decision points.
    • Manage day-to-day coordination of pharmacy strategy initiatives, ensuring workstreams are progressing, owners are clear, and next steps are documented and tracked.
    • Develop and maintain project plans, status updates, action trackers, RAID logs, and executive-ready summaries that provide visibility into progress, risks, and decisions.
    Cross-Functional Coordination & Stakeholder Alignment
    • Coordinate across Strategy, Product, Operations, Commercial, Client, and other cross-functional teams to keep initiatives moving and ensure stakeholders are aligned on scope, timing, dependencies, and responsibilities.
    • Facilitate working sessions, prepare agendas and materials, document key decisions, and drive follow-up on open action items.
    • Help create structure and operating discipline around complex strategic initiatives by reinforcing governance, communication cadence, and accountability across teams.
    Risk, Dependency & Issue Management
    • Identify, track, and escalate key risks, dependencies, blockers, and resource needs that may affect the success of strategic pharmacy initiatives.
    • Work closely with initiative owners and functional partners to resolve issues, clarify decisions, and maintain forward momentum.
    • Support leadership by surfacing where execution risk, unclear ownership, or misaligned timelines may impact strategic outcomes.
    Strategic Support & Operational Enablement
    • Support the Principal, Pharmacy Strategy by helping structure initiative materials, organizing inputs, preparing updates for leadership, and ensuring strategic decisions are translated into executable next steps.
    • Create clarity across fast-moving work by maintaining an accurate view of scope, status, dependencies, owners, and outstanding decisions.
    • Bring strong organizational discipline and communication skills that allow strategy leaders and subject matter experts to stay focused on content, design, and decision-making.

     

     

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or project management certification preferred.
    • 5+ years of experience in project management, strategic operations, implementation management, consulting, or other cross-functional roles within healthcare, pharmacy, payer, PBM, or related sectors.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage complex initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and evolving timelines.
    • Strong organizational, communication, and follow-through skills, with the ability to drive clarity, coordination, and accountability across teams.
    • Experience using Monday.com to manage project plans, workstreams, action tracking, stakeholder updates, and cross-functional initiative visibility is required.
    • Comfort working in ambiguous, fast-moving environments where priorities may shift, and strategic initiatives require both structure and adaptability.
    • Experience supporting strategy, product, operations, or client-facing initiatives in healthcare or pharmacy is strongly preferred.

    • Quality of project planning, stakeholder coordination, and execution support across high-priority strategic workstreams.
