Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Project Manager to support major rail and transit capital programs in the Bay Area, including direct engagement on projects for Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART). This role is critical to the successful coordination and delivery of complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives and requires prior experience working on BART projects.
The Project Manager will guide project execution across all phases—from early planning through procurement, construction, integration, and closeout. This position requires strong communication, leadership, organizational capability, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams in a highly regulated transit environment.
This is an important position interfacing directly with BART, state and local agencies, contractors, consultants, and multidisciplinary technical teams. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong project management discipline and the ability to maintain scope, schedule, and budget while effectively managing relationships and ensuring coordinated delivery.
