Our client, Xstrahl, is a global leader in the design and manufacture of Superficial Orthovoltage Medical X-ray Systems, making a meaningful difference in the treatment of cancers and dermatological disorders. Their innovative expertise also extends to advanced X-ray systems for pre-clinical radiation biology research. With manufacturing facilities in the United States and the United Kingdom, along with an international network of distributors, Xstrahl is at the forefront of medical and scientific advancement.
To support continued growth, Xstrahl is hiring a full-time Project Manager to own the end-to-end installation lifecycle of new systems, from signed sale through successful go-live and customer acceptance.
This is a newly created position, and the first dedicated Project Manager focused exclusively on new installations. We are now formalizing the function, and we are looking for someone who can build structure, create predictability, and bring professional project discipline into a complex, ownership-driven environment. This role is ideal for a Project Manager who doesn’t just run projects but designs the system behind them.

Key Responsibilities
Own the Installation Lifecycle
- Lead internal and customer kickoff meetings
- Define scope, assumptions, boundaries, and the definition of done
- Drive projects from sale through structured handoff to Account Management
Build and Establishthe PM Function
- Develop repeatable templates, sequencing models, and milestone frameworks
- Partner with Operations to refine installation SOPs
- Create structure in an environment that has historically been bespoke
Drive Planning & Site Readiness
- Coordinate construction timelines, retrofits, utilities, connectivity, and surveys
- Ensure disciplined intake and requirements gathering
- Manage configuration decisions within defined product boundaries
Manage Execution & Risk
- Build and maintain integrated project plans in Zoho Projects (connected to Zoho CRM)
- Identify and mitigate risks before timelines are impacted
- Lead cross-functional coordination across Sales, Engineering, Applications, Service, Logistics, and Quality
Customer Communication
- Serve as the primary operational point of contact during installation
- Provide clear, proactive status updates
- Navigate obstacles calmly while keeping execution on track
Closeout & Handoff
- Confirm installation completion to specification
- Ensure documentation and training milestones are met
- Execute structured transition to Account Management
Required Qualifications
- 3–6 years of project management experience in cross-functional environments
- Experience designing and structuring projects, not solely executing within an established framework
- Strong command of project management fundamentals, including sequencing, dependencies, critical path analysis, and change control
- Ability to hold peers and senior stakeholders accountable with clarity, professionalism, and tact
- Experience using project management platforms (Zoho Projects, Asana, Monday.com, MS Project, or similar
PreferredExperience
- Project Management certification (PMP, CAPM, PRINCE2) preferred
- Experience with capital equipment, medical devices, life sciences, or technical implementations.
- Exposure to regulated or quality-driven environments
- Experience building repeatable processes in a growing organization
