    Project Manager – High-Rise Construction

    About the Role
    We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex high-rise construction projects from pre-construction through completion. This role is responsible for coordinating consultants, managing project schedules and budgets, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Lead and manage all pre-construction project activities

    • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and specialty consultants to define scope and maintain design alignment

    • Manage consultant and design schedules to ensure timely completion of coordinated construction documentation

    • Oversee the working drawing process to deliver a complete and coordinated set of construction drawings

    • Ensure construction activities follow approved plans, specifications, shop drawings, and applicable building codes

    • Develop, maintain, and track the project construction schedule to meet key milestones and completion dates

    • Facilitate regular project meetings with internal teams and external stakeholders to monitor progress and resolve issues

    • Provide leadership and support to project teams to ensure strong collaboration and execution

    • Identify and manage project risks and opportunities impacting schedule and financial performance

    • Track and report project financials, including forecasts, budgets, and billings

    Qualifications

    • 5–7 years of experience in a Project Management role within the construction industry

    • Minimum 5 years of field experience (site supervision, trade coordination, or similar hands-on construction roles)

    • Post-secondary education in Construction, Engineering, or a related field is considered an asset

    • Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, budgets, and current construction practices

    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to identify root causes and develop effective solutions

    • Ability to anticipate constructability challenges and develop practical solutions

    • Proven negotiation and influencing skills with the ability to build consensus across teams
