    About the Role

We’re looking for a Project Manager who can operate at both a strategic and execution level—someone who doesn’t just manage timelines, but drives outcomes.

In this role, you’ll lead the delivery of technical and infrastructure projects across our client base, ensuring alignment with business goals, technical standards, and operational capacity.

You’ll serve as the central hub between clients, engineering, and operations, bringing structure, clarity, and accountability to every engagement.

This position operates within our Sea-Level Service Delivery Model, meaning you’ll play a critical role in aligning Service Desk, Engineering, and Account Management into a unified delivery engine.

    What You’ll Own

    Project Planning & Execution

Lead end-to-end delivery of client projects—from kickoff through closeout

Define scope, timelines, deliverables, and success criteria

Build and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and resource forecasts

Coordinate internal engineers and external vendors to ensure successful execution

Track budgets, costs, and financial performance throughout the lifecycle

Maintain structured documentation across AutoTask, IT Glue, and SharePoint

    Client Leadership & Communication

Act as the primary point of contact for clients during project engagements

Deliver clear, consistent updates on status, risks, and milestones

Set expectations around timelines, dependencies, and change management

Lead project kickoff meetings, status reviews, and closeout sessions

Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and decision-makers

    Scope, Risk & Change Management

Collaborate on Scope of Work (SOW) development and refinement

Monitor scope and proactively identify risks or deviations

Manage change orders with clear documentation and financial alignment

Mitigate risks before they impact delivery, timelines, or budget

Escalate conflicts or constraints when necessary to maintain momentum

    Cross-Functional Coordination

Align project timelines with Service Desk operations and capacity planning

Coordinate Level 2, Level 3, and Senior Engineering resources

Partner with Account Management and vCIO functions for strategic alignment

Participate in internal project reviews and operational planning sessions

    Operational Discipline & Reporting

Track milestones, deliverables, and overall project performance

Maintain accurate, real-time updates within AutoTask

Report on budget vs. actuals and project financial health

Contribute to L10 meetings and IDS problem-solving discussions

Support organizational change management during major deployments

    How You’ll Be Measured

    On-time project delivery

Budget adherence and gross margin performance

Change order accuracy and turnaround time

    Client satisfaction (CSAT)

    Documentation completeness and quality

    Resource forecasting accuracy

    What You Bring

5+ years of project management experience (MSP or IT services strongly preferred)

Experience managing multiple concurrent technical projects

Strong communication skills—able to translate between business and technical audiences

Proven ability to manage scope, timelines, and budgets effectively

Familiarity with PSA tools (AutoTask preferred) and PM platforms (MS Project, Asana, Jira, etc.)

Solid technical understanding of infrastructure, cloud, networking, and security environments

A proactive, problem-solving mindset with strong organizational discipline

Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority

    What Success Looks Like

Projects delivered smoothly, predictably, and profitably

Clients who trust you as a reliable advisor

Engineering teams that are aligned and not overloaded or surprised

Clear visibility into project health, risks, and outcomes

Continuous improvement in how projects are scoped, delivered, and measured

    Professional Expectations

Maintain real-time time entry and project updates

Participate in L10s, project reviews, and planning sessions

Travel as needed for key client engagements or deployments

Contribute to process improvement within the Sea-Level framework

Operate with professionalism, accountability, and a client-first mindset

Flexible work from home options available.
