    Badlands Contracting, LLC is an EPC firm specializing in building infrastructure in the Williston Basin. We provide fully integrated services—from conception to commissioning—for clients in the oil and gas industry. Our expertise includes project development, facility and pipeline design, procurement, construction management, and field construction services.

    Position Overview
    We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to oversee and execute projects from concept through closeout. This role is responsible for planning, budgeting, coordinating, and delivering projects that meet client needs, adhere to safety and quality standards, and achieve financial targets. The ideal candidate will bring proven leadership, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage diverse teams and stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Plan, schedule, and manage large-scale construction projects to meet client expectations and profitability goals.

    • Define and communicate roles, responsibilities, and expectations to project teams and stakeholders.

    • Monitor contractual commitments and ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, and regulatory requirements.

    • Approve major purchase orders, contracts, subcontracts, and critical changes in accordance with company procedures.

    • Review and approve invoices and payment applications for accuracy.

    • Lead meetings with clients and internal teams to provide updates, address scope changes, and resolve project challenges.

    • Ensure all construction activities meet safety standards under Badlands Contracting’s HSE Policy.

    • Oversee material orders and delivery schedules to meet project timelines.

    • Ensure project documentation is complete, accurate, and reviewed appropriately.

    • Conduct project closeout activities and post-job reviews.

    • Provide leadership, mentorship, and training to project personnel.

    Required Qualifications

    • Minimum 3+ years of construction project management experience, including scoping, estimating, scheduling, cost control, and team leadership.

    • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Project, and Outlook.

    • Strong leadership, analytical, and organizational skills.

    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.

    Physical Requirements
    This role requires the ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, balance, kneel, or crouch for extended periods, lift up to 65 pounds unassisted, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and visual acuity. Reasonable accommodations will be made for individuals with disabilities.
