Overview of the Spray Lining Project Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Trenchless Rehab Pipe Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy civil, spray lining, and/or CIPP Specific project management experience, as well as several different trenchless rehabilitation techniques. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of trenchless pipe rehabilitation projects from planning and design to execution and completion.
Responsibilities of the Spray Lining Project Manager:
- Collaborate with clients, engineers, and stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets in accordance with client specifications and industry standards.
- Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to determine the most suitable trenchless rehabilitation techniques.
- Manage project resources, including equipment, materials, and personnel, to ensure timely and efficient project delivery.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to procure necessary resources and services.
- Monitor project progress and performance to identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and budgetary considerations.
- Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
- Address any issues or concerns raised by clients or stakeholders in a timely and professional manner.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure that work meets or exceeds client expectations and industry standards.
- Conduct inspections and quality audits to verify compliance with project specifications and contractual requirements.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and innovation to enhance project outcomes and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including contracts, permits, drawings, and reports.
- Prepare regular progress reports, financial statements, and other project-related documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
- Review and approve invoices, change orders, and other project-related financial transactions.
Qualifications for the Spray Lining Project Manager:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. 5+ years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in the field of trenchless pipe rehabilitation.
- Strong technical knowledge of trenchless rehabilitation techniques, including pipe bursting, pipe lining, and horizontal directional drilling.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools, such as Bid2Win
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize competing demands effectively.
- Familiarity with relevant industry regulations, codes, and standards.
- PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
