We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a background in commercial construction specializing in doors, frames, and hardware. The Project Manager will oversee projects from bidding through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build and maintain strong client and vendor relationships. Must have Division 8 experience.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all phases of commercial door, frame, and hardware projects from inception to closeout.
Review plans, specifications, and contracts to determine project scope and requirements.
Prepare and coordinate bids, estimates, and proposals for upcoming projects.
Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and procurement plans.
Coordinate with general contractors, architects, and subcontractors to resolve project issues.
Oversee material ordering, delivery, and installation logistics.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with safety standards.
Track project costs, approve invoices, and ensure timely billing.
Provide consistent communication and updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
Build and maintain positive long-term relationships with customers and vendors.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
3–5+ years of project management experience in commercial construction.
Specific experience in doors, frames, and hardware projects strongly preferred.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, codes, and industry standards.
Proficiency with project management and construction software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and shop drawings.
Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.
Working Conditions
Office and field-based role with regular site visits.
May require occasional overtime or weekend work to meet project deadlines.
