Position Title: Joint Planning Project Manager
Overview: Cornerstone Signals & Cyber Technologies LLC is seeking a highly capable Certified Project Manager (CPM) to support the integration of joint operations planning and innovation initiatives into Air Education and Training Command (AETC) training programs. This position directly contributes to the delivery and improvement of Program and Project Manager Course content through operational planning support, stakeholder engagement, and integration of emerging concepts such as Multi-Capable Airmen and AFFORGEN readiness models.
Responsibilities:
Serve as a Project Manager supporting the AETC Program and Project Managers Course Development and Delivery Services Contract.
Facilitate planning sessions and operational planning team (OPT) engagements to integrate joint and multi-domain operational concepts.
Collaborate with government leads, including A3XA and training innovation elements, to support initiatives such as:
AFFORGEN Virtual Advisor Demo (AI-enabled planning tools)
Advanced Training Technologies for Multi-Capable Airmen (RAND Study alignment)
Support the development of Operational Approaches (OA) and integrate those approaches into curriculum development frameworks.
Participate in and contribute to briefings, technical reviews, and innovation-focused working groups.
Maintain accurate documentation of planning efforts, meetings, and project outcomes.
Provide weekly updates to the Site Lead and submit detailed monthly status reports.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with evolving training objectives and strategic priorities.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum two (2) years’ experience as a paid Project Manager, preferably in military or defense training environments.
Prior experience as an action officer or planner at a Combatant Command (CCMD), joint staff, or service component.
Demonstrated participation in Operational Planning Teams (OPT) or equivalent strategic planning environments.
Working knowledge of the Joint Planning Process and Joint Publication 5-0 (JP 5-0).
Must possess a Secret security clearance.
Preferred Training (at least two of the following or sister service equivalent):
Joint Air Operations Planning Course (JAOPC)
Joint Planning Support Element (JPSE)
Intermediate Service School or Senior NCO Service PME
Joint Advanced Warfighting School (JAWS)
Joint Task Force Staff Basic Course
Contingency Wartime Planning Course
