Project/Operations Engineer – Industrial Project

Job Summary
The Project/Operations Engineer will oversee project execution for industrial ventilation, VOC, dust extraction, and paint/lithium factory systems. This role bridges project planning, subcontractor management, electrical/automation support, and compliance with U.S. standards. The ideal candidate will also be able to modify existing electrical designs and automation programs based on project requirements.
Responsibilities
Coordinate project schedules, resources, and subcontractors for equipment installation.
Ensure projects meet OSHA, EPA, and Texas environmental standards.
Ensure projects installation, commissioning, testing, and handover of systems.
Liaise with HQ engineering teams to adapt solutions to U.S. client needs.
Provide electrical and automation support, including updating existing electrical schematics and PLC/HMI programs as required.
Assist with electrical component selection (SIEMENS, SCHNEIDER, EATON, PHOENIX, PILZ, etc.) based on project specifications.
Modify existing EPLAN or AutoCAD electrical drawings and prepare/adjust BOM lists when necessary.
Monitor performance metrics and prepare project status reports.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Automation, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
3+ years of work experience in electrical automation or project/operations engineering within industrial equipment or lithium battery sectors.
Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and environmental compliance.
Hands-on experience with electrical components and the ability to update existing electrical schematics (EPLAN, AutoCAD).
Proficiency in modifying PLC programs, preferably in Siemens TIA Portal; familiarity with Siemens HMI, WEINVIEW HMI, or similar systems.
Strong problem-solving, communication and vendor management skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Technical understanding of manufacturing processes, coating systems, or air handling systems is a strong plus.
Ability to travel within the U.S. and occasionally internationally.
