    Bandy Constructors is seeking an experienced Project Superintendent to lead commercial construction projects from groundbreaking through closeout. This role is responsible for driving safety, quality, schedule, and field execution while fostering strong relationships with owners, architects, subcontractors, and project teams.

    Organizational Relationships

    Reports to: General Superintendent

    Directly supervises: Assistant Superintendents, Project Foremen, Bandy Craft Team Members

    Responsibilities

    • Lead all on-site construction activities, subcontractors, and field personnel.
    • Develop and maintain CPM schedules, three-week look-ahead schedules, and project sequencing.
    • Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
    • Coordinate with Project Managers, owners, architects, inspectors, and trade partners to keep projects moving efficiently.
    • Oversee jobsite logistics, material management, inspections, and regulatory compliance.
    • Conduct subcontractor coordination meetings and proactively resolve field challenges.
    • Maintain accurate project documentation, daily reports, quality inspections, and progress tracking.
    • Enforce Bandy's safety culture and quality standards across every phase of construction.
    • Support project closeout, punch lists, as-built documentation, and turnover activities.
    • Mentor Assistant Superintendents and field personnel while helping develop the next generation of construction leaders.

    Education and Experience

    • 10+ years of commercial construction superintendent experience, preferably in public construction.
    • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling (CPM), structural systems, and MEP coordination.
    • Proven ability to lead subcontractors, manage multiple priorities, and solve complex field challenges.
    • Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and conflict-resolution skills.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management technology.

    Work Environment

    This job operates in a construction site setting.

    Physical Demands

    This is largely a physical role requiring constant movement for up to 8 hours daily. Bending, stooping, climbing, and lifting of up to 75 pounds is required.

    Additional Requirements Due to the nature of this role, local travel will be required. Driver’s License, personal vehicle and auto insurance must remain at current levels deemed appropriate by Bandy Constructors. Employees must remain in good standing for insurability purposes.
