Project Superintendent Electrical
Education and Years of Experience: Bachelor's degree in an engineering technical discipline and 8-10 years of practical electrical experience in construction or related areas. An Associate's degree i nan engineering technical discipline and 10-12 years of practical electrical experience would be considered equivalent. A high school diploma and 12-16 years of practical electrical experience would also be considered equivalent.
Top Required Skills:
\- Substantial cumulative experience (in excess of eight years) and an in-depth knowledge of construction, safety, planning ability to evaluate technical design data, develop and determine construction techniques and strategies.
\- Manage multi-disciplined staff in a proactive value-added manner.
\- The incumbent must also stay abreast of environmental regulations, pertinent industry developments and new SRS procedures through attending on site training and off-site seminars.
\- Experience with electrical system installation/modification designed and constructed in accordance with national codes and standards, for example NFPA, NEC, among others.
\- Ability to perform field walk-downs to document as-installed conditions and to inspect equipment condition.
\- Knowledge of nuclear facility design including the application of safety class and safety significant codes and standards.
\- Ability to prepare/revise construction plans, develop schedules, monitor progress, monitor expenditures of budget and review quality of work performed.
Anticipated Work Schedule: Mon-Thurs 6am-430pm EST
