Position Overview: We’re seeking an experienced Project Superintendent with a proven track record managing grocery store tenant improvements and/or ground-up construction projects. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with hands-on field experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive schedules while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all on-site construction activities and personnel
Coordinate and manage subcontractors, inspections, and daily field operations
Ensure compliance with plans, specs, schedules, and safety standards
Communicate effectively with project managers, field director, clients, and vendors
Lead weekly site meetings and maintain detailed daily reports
Manage schedules to ensure on-time completion and quality delivery
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
Direct experience with grocery store remodels and/or ground-up builds required
Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and sequencing
Proficient in reading blueprints and using construction management software
Willing and able to travel nationally for extended periods of time
